Pastor Shoko is a dedicated faith leader, counselor, and program manager with a passion for building strong, resilient families and communities. As National Program Manager for The Journey, Project Yananai's marriage preparation course, Pastor Shoko brings over a decade of experience in pastoral ministry, counseling, and leadership development to empower couples as they embark on their lifelong partnership.

Since 2015, Pastor Shoko has served as a Pastor with the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) of Zimbabwe, where he leads community outreach, provides pastoral care and counseling, and chairs all assembly departments. His ministry is defined by a commitment to nurturing relationships, fostering holistic well-being, and guiding individuals and couples through life’s key transitions. He is known for his empathetic approach, effective communication, and ability to inspire trust and openness within diverse groups.

Pastor Shoko’s earlier experience includes service with the Zimbabwe Republic Police, where he developed strong skills in conflict resolution, investigation, and community engagement, as well as retail management experience as an Assistant Branch Buyer with OK Zimbabwe Supermarket.

He holds an Honours Degree in Theology from the Catholic University of Zimbabwe, a Diploma in Theology from Living Waters Theological Seminary, and a Diploma in Leadership Development from ICOF Institute University of Zambia. Pastor Shoko is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Theology, further deepening his academic and spiritual foundation for impactful leadership.

A self-starter and creative thinker, Pastor Shoko excels in program facilitation, counseling, and capacity building. He is highly organized, attentive to detail, and adept at working both independently and collaboratively to achieve excellence. Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, he is skilled at preparing training materials and communicating program content effectively.

At Project Yananai Zimbabwe, Pastor Renias Shoko leads The Journey program, guiding couples through marriage preparation, fostering healthy communication, and laying the groundwork for strong, enduring unions. His unwavering commitment to service, integrity, and personal growth ensures that The Journey supports couples in building families that contribute positively to their communities and society at large.
