Kgabo is an accomplished Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Specialist with over a decade of experience advancing public sector and development programs across South Africa. She leverages her extensive expertise in research design, impact assessment, and M&E systems to drive data-driven, high-impact skills development initiatives that empower communities and foster long-term socioeconomic progress.

Kgabo’s strengths lie in developing robust logical frameworks, establishing program indicators, and designing data collection and analysis tools that enable strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. Her analytical acumen is complemented by hands-on experience in both quantitative and qualitative research, data interpretation, and comprehensive performance reporting.

Throughout her career, Kgabo has held pivotal roles such as Performance Monitoring Manager at Broadband Infraco, where she developed performance frameworks and tools to track project progress and impact, conducted rigorous evaluations, and provided actionable insights for program enhancement. As National Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at AIDS Healthcare Foundation South Africa, she led the design and implementation of M&E systems, developed innovative research tools, and managed comprehensive data collection and reporting across multiple provinces. Her achievements include designing the Patient Satisfaction Survey, developing sustainability frameworks, and strengthening organizational performance monitoring.

In her roles at the City of Johannesburg, ETDP SETA, Business Unity South Africa (BUSA), and Government Communication and Information Systems, Kgabo has consistently delivered technical assistance in research design, project management, budgeting, and policy evaluation. She has also developed and implemented SOPs, data management plans, and impact assessment projects for skills development, supporting both internal and external stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations.

Kgabo holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation (Wits, in progress), an MBA from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA), and a Bachelor of Social Service in Social Work and Development Studies from UNISA. Her professional development includes certificates in M&E planning and management, project management, and public sector M&E from prestigious institutions in South Africa and Japan.
