Throughout her career, Edzani has held pivotal roles with renowned entities such as AfriFundLink (where she is Co-Founder and CFO), Carifika, Tshiamiso Trust, iX Engineers, GE South Africa, and Sasol. She has consistently delivered value by designing and executing robust financial frameworks, optimizing operational efficiency, mitigating risk, and aligning funding strategies with both corporate goals and community ambitions.
Edzani is recognized for her ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights and to lead high-performing teams with a focus on financial transparency and accountability. Her expertise includes financial modelling and planning, audits and internal controls, investment strategy, risk management, grant administration, and donor relations. She has led the development of innovative funding pathways for social entrepreneurship, overseen multi-billion rand compensation and development projects, and managed complex investment portfolios in highly regulated environments.

Edzani is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and holds an MBA from Aston University (UK), an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
