Cleophas is an accomplished Project Manager with over a decade of experience leading complex, cross-sector projects in Zambia’s private and public sectors.  He deploys his extensive expertise in project management, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement to drive the successful planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of innovative community learning initiatives.

Cleophas holds an MBA in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Zambia. He is a certified PMP member and holds multiple ISO certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 13485:2016 (Medical Devices Quality Management), ISO 17025:2015 (Laboratory Management), and ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety Management). His commitment to excellence is reflected in his rigorous approach to project execution, quality control, and process optimization.

Throughout his career, Cleophas has demonstrated reliability, competence, and strategic vision. Most recently, as Project Manager at Axis Solutions Zambia, he led market analysis, business planning, regulatory compliance, procurement, and quality control for the introduction of medical devices—successfully coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and implementing risk management strategies using Agile and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. In his previous roles as Quality Control Manager at Kingphar Zambia Limited and Quality Controller at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, Cleophas managed quality assurance programs, conducted internal and external audits, and drove continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and maintain international standards.

Cleophas also brings valuable experience from the mining sector, having served as Head of Section/Sectional Chemist at Luanshya Copper Mines, and from the pharmaceutical industry as a Quality Control Chemist. His early career included academic engagement as a Chemistry Tutor at the University of Zambia, where he developed a passion for education and community empowerment.

A skilled communicator, negotiator, and leader, Cleophas excels in stakeholder management, budget oversight, and the creation of robust project documentation and risk mitigation plans. His collaborative approach and adaptability enable him to foster strong partnerships and ensure alignment with organizational and community goals.
