Cassandra is a seasoned leader and commercial strategist with a deep passion for brand building, communications, and creating long-term value for organizations and the communities they serve. She brings over a decade of experience in leading large, diverse teams across sales operations, marketing management, brand strategy, and customer experience in both multinational corporations and dynamic growth environments.
Cassandra’s expertise lies in crafting and executing innovative commercial and brand strategies that are not only unique and effective but also deliver measurable business results. Throughout her career, she has championed the integration of strategic communication with commercial growth, enabling organizations to scale operations, optimize processes, and strengthen stakeholder relationships. Her core strengths include commercial strategy development, stakeholder management, sales enablement, go-to-market execution, and public speaking.
In her most recent roles as Global Commercial Director (Strategic Marketing), Global Head of Sales & Marketing, and Head of Commercial at ENGIE Energy Access, Cassandra set and managed the group’s strategic direction for sales, marketing, customer experience, and product strategy across nine African markets. She has successfully led group-wide initiatives to drive operational excellence, capability building, and brand growth, while ensuring alignment with business ambitions and financial imperatives. Previously, as Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager at Fenix International, she designed and implemented integrated campaigns, managed brand partnerships, and developed customer-centric marketing strategies that drove both acquisition and retention.
Cassandra’s leadership experience also includes senior brand and marketing roles at TopStar Communications Ltd, Gatbro International Limited, and Zamtel, where she managed brand budgets, agency relationships, and multi-channel campaigns to enhance brand awareness, equity, and recall across the Zambian market.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing from the University of Greenwich, a Diploma in Marketing from Evelyn Hone College, and GCSE ‘O’ Levels from Dominican Convent Secondary School, Ndola.
