Ash is a board-level technology executive with over 20 years of experience leading enterprise-scale digital, data, and cloud transformations across the pensions, financial services, SaaS, and global digital sectors. As Chief Mission Operations & Infrastructure Officer (CMOIO) for Project Yananai Global, Ash is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational integrity of the organisation’s global mission delivery, technical infrastructure, security, and resilience.

Ash has a proven record of reframing technology and operations from a support function into a strategic enabler of organisational value. His expertise spans executive leadership, cloud and AI transformation, enterprise architecture, and rigorous risk and regulatory alignment (including FCA, PRA, ISO27001, and DORA). He is adept at securing board-level sponsorship for major investments, having successfully advised Executive Committees and Audit & Risk Committees while securing over £15 million in technology funding.

Throughout his career, Ash has driven significant outcomes: deploying AI and predictive analytics to improve operational efficiency by 96%; managing budgets exceeding £50 million while delivering millions in cost savings through vendor optimisation; and leading complex post-merger integrations and IT consolidations across Europe, Asia, and North America that realised over £10 million in annualised savings. He is equally committed to cultural transformation, having built and led high-performing global teams by embedding Agile and DevOps practices, which improved delivery velocity by 50% and raised team engagement.

Prior to joining Project Yananai, Ash served as Technology Director at Just Group PLC, where he modernised legacy infrastructure, strengthened cyber resilience, and elevated technology to a board-level strategic priority. His previous leadership roles include Head of Technology at Sporting Group, Interim Head of IT Operations at Avis Budget Group, and Director of Technology at ebookers, where he consistently delivered large-scale operational modernisation, service excellence, and cost optimisation.

At Project Yananai, Ash leads the Mission Operations & Infrastructure division, overseeing Relief Operations, Education & Training Services, Special Projects & Innovation, Technology & Digital Solutions, Risk & Security, and Logistics & Engineering worldwide. His leadership ensures that Project Yananai’s global footprint is supported by secure, scalable, and resilient systems, enabling the organisation to deliver its humanitarian and development mission with maximum impact, efficiency, and integrity.
