With over a decade of HR experience, Pearl is a pragmatic and results-oriented HR leader who has
successfully delivered strategic people solutions in various organizational settings.
Her earlier career began in technology within the investment banking sector, where she developed
foundational skills through first—and second-line technical support roles at prestigious financial
institutions, including UBS Warburg, Deutsche Bank, Cazenove, and WestLB. This technical
background equipped her with valuable analytical capabilities and stakeholder management
experience that proved instrumental in her subsequent HR leadership roles.
Pearl holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and Employment Studies, along with
Chartered MCIPD status through the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She is
currently pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University
of London, to develop evidence-based approaches to workplace challenges and gain deeper insights
into organisational behaviour.
Her professional certifications include project management skills, supported by a PRINCE2
Foundation certification, with a proven application in large-scale organisational transformations and
work redesign initiatives.
She recently achieved the British Psychological Society’s RQTU Accreditation, which includes
Personality and Ability Testing and MBTI Certification, offering advanced assessment and
development tools.
Her favourite part of her job is managing change and organisational transformation, leading complex
restructuring initiatives; she especially thrives in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships as
well as in policy development and governance.
Finally, Pearl is the proud daughter of a Nigerian ambassador who travelled the world and served in
various roles at Nigerian missions overseas in Tokyo, New York, Kampala, New Delhi, Congo-
Brazzaville, and Geneva. Her father dedicated his life to serving his nation and the African continent,
and it is this dedication that draws Pearl’s interest in Project Yananai.
