Chiamaka is a dedicated and results‑driven governance and compliance professional with over eight years of experience in managing governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement across diverse organisational settings. 

As Head of Compliance for Project Yananai, she is responsible for establishing, monitoring, and continuously improving the organisation's global compliance framework, ensuring that all operations across the UK and beneficiary countries meet the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and regulatory adherence.

Chiamaka leads the development and enforcement of compliance systems covering the full lifecycle of Theory of Change delivery – from policy development and programme design through to implementation, monitoring, and reporting. She drives readiness for external accreditations including NCVO Trusted Standard, EFQM Model, and Chartered Governance Institute recognition, and maintains robust compliance matrices for Charity Commission and Fundraising Regulator obligations, as well as country‑specific regulatory requirements for India, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Chiamaka's career encompasses key roles in legal, regulatory, and customer‑focused environments, where she has excelled in policy development, risk management, conflict resolution, data analysis, and the implementation of robust compliance procedures. She has conducted internal audits, developed and delivered compliance training, and provided strategic guidance to management on governance and regulatory matters. She is skilled in producing actionable insights from data analysis, supporting risk mitigation, and driving service and process improvements.

Chiamaka holds an LLM in Financial Regulation and Compliance from BPP University, a BL (Hons) from the Nigerian Law School, and an LLB (Hons) from the University of Nigeria. Her expertise is underpinned by a strong commitment to best practices in governance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
