Alexander is an accomplished enterprise transformation and human resources leader with over 20 years of experience translating strategy into execution across global organisations.
As Deputy Chief People and Governance Officer for Project Yananai, he supports the Chief People and Governance Officer in strengthening organisational culture, talent management, governance frameworks, and operational excellence across the global team. He also serves as Lead Process Optimisation and Performance Executive, driving process improvement, performance management, and training delivery across the organisation.
Alexander brings a distinguished track record in building operating models, leading large-scale transformation portfolios, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives. He currently leads global People transformation at Equinix, a global digital infrastructure company, where he is accountable for organisation design, operating model implementation, process and experience design, technology enablement, automation, AI adoption, program management, and change management. He architected and implemented a global People operating model, shifting from country-based HR to a three-pillar structure, improving scalability, service quality, and cost efficiency. He also led the implementation of Workday, ServiceNow, and AI-enabled solutions, reducing manual effort and enabling a digital-first employee experience.
Alexander has held senior transformation and shared services leadership roles at the Maples Group and Pearson, where he designed and executed global transformation strategies, built and scaled global shared services across HR, Finance, and Operations, and led enterprise HR transformation from country-based to globally aligned models. He also served as Philippines Country Managing Director at Pearson, overseeing market growth and achieving approximately 13% annual growth. Earlier, he held leadership roles at Capital One and Accenture, where he built and scaled global shared services, led regional integration of major acquisitions, and managed talent strategy for global technology functions.
Alexander holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology and a BA in Psychology from the University of the Philippines. He is certified as SHRM-SCP and GPHR, holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and is a SAFe Product Owner. He serves as a Trustee of Bankside Open Spaces Trust and as a Foundation Governor at Mount Carmel Catholic Primary School.
